After Hours:

To ease accessibility in attending our service we offer appointments outside of regular business hours. Please note appointments before 9am and from 4pm onwards are subject to our after hour rate incurring an additional $10 for every 30 minutes that your appointment runs outside of these times.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the high demand of services, 24 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Less than 24 hours notice (notice period excludes weekends and public holiday’s) limits our ability to provide services to others in need and will incur 50% of the session fee.  Find more information about cancellations here.

Medicare Subsidies:

Medicare subsidies are available for psychological treatment by registered psychologists under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Along with a valid referral from your GP, psychiatrist or other specialist provider, Medicare will subsidise up to 10 sessions a calendar year with rebates available of $96.65 to see a Registered Psychologist. Please note there are no subsidies available to see a provisional psychologist of which our fees have been adjusted accordingly.

Private Health Insurance:

Private health insurance can assist cover some of the cost of your psychology services, we recommend obtaining cover that includes psychology to assist with the affordability of psychology treatment especially when used in combination with Medicare subsidies. Contact your private health insurer to determine your level of cover and for information about how to claim reimbursement. Please contact your private health insurance fund for further details.

Third – Party arrangements:

If your claim is covered by a third party this will need to be arranged prior to your appointment. You will need to provide details regarding your claim including: insurer details, claim number, date of injury, case managers name and contact details. We will then make arrangements with your third party directly for payment of appointments.
